3. Return & Refund Policy

Effective Date: 11 April, 2026

Thrift Phone aims to provide a fair and practical return and refund process while protecting the
business from fraud, misuse, and improper returns.
Return Window
Unless a different return period is stated at checkout or required by law, eligible products may be
returned within [insert number] calendar days after confirmed delivery.
Eligibility Conditions
• The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered, subject to
reasonable inspection.
• The item must not be locked to an account, passcode-protected, blacklisted, activation-locked,
or tied to a financing or carrier restriction unless disclosed and approved in advance.
• All included accessories, packaging, and free promotional items must be returned if requested
as part of the return approval.
• Proof of purchase and any requested return authorization information must be provided.
Non-Returnable or Restricted Items
• Products damaged by misuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorized repair attempts,
liquid damage after delivery, or physical abuse may be denied.
• Consumables, software, digital codes, SIM cards, and certain clearance or final-sale items may
be non-returnable if stated at sale.
• Returns may be reduced, denied, or rejected if the returned item does not match the original
product shipped, including IMEI or serial number mismatch.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method. Shipping charges,
restocking fees, insurance, expedited fees, or other non-refundable service charges may be
withheld where permitted by law or disclosed at sale. Refund timing depends on inspection,
payment processor timing, and bank/card issuer processing.
Fraud and Chargeback Protection
Thrift Phone reserves the right to request photographs, serial number verification, delivery
confirmation, identity documents, signed declarations, or other supporting information to
investigate suspicious claims, lost-package reports, item-not-as-described disputes, or other
return issues. False, abusive, or fraudulent claims may be denied and referred to the appropriate
authorities or payment providers.

• Orders placed after 1:00 PM may be processed starting on the next business day.
• Processing times, carrier delays, severe weather, address issues, fraud review, holidays, and

certain orders, replacements, high-value packages, or at Thrift Phone's discretion. Risk of loss and

These Trade-In Terms apply if Thrift Phone offers a trade-in, buyback, or device resale program.
Eligibility and Offer Basis
Trade-in quotes are estimates only and are subject to inspection, verification, testing, market
conditions, and final acceptance by Thrift Phone or its designated partner.
Customer Representations
• You represent that you are the lawful owner of the device or are fully authorized to transfer it.
• The device is not stolen, counterfeit, blacklisted, financed without disclosure, or subject to
third-party ownership rights.
• You will remove personal accounts, passcodes, activation locks, and stored personal data
before shipping or surrendering the device.
Inspection and Final Value
Final trade-in value may be reduced or the item may be rejected if the condition, functionality,
IMEI, serial number, lock status, authenticity, accessories, or other facts differ from the
information you submitted.
Payments and Holds
Trade-in payments may be delayed, withheld, adjusted, or canceled where information is

8. Repair Service Waiver and Customer Agreement

Effective Date: 11 April, 2026

This Repair Service Waiver applies whenever a customer leaves a device or accessory with Thrift
Phone for diagnostic work, repair, inspection, data-related assistance, unlocking, or any related
service.
Customer Authorization
By submitting a device for service, you authorize Thrift Phone to inspect, test, diagnose, repair,
replace parts, and take other reasonable actions necessary to evaluate or complete the requested
work.
Data and Backup
• You are solely responsible for backing up all data before service.
• You understand that repair or diagnostic work may result in partial or complete data loss.
• Thrift Phone does not guarantee preservation of data and is not liable for data loss, corruption,
or privacy exposure arising from preexisting device conditions, third-party locks, software
issues, or the repair process itself, except where prohibited by law.
No Guarantee of Repair Outcome
Some devices may have hidden damage, prior repair issues, liquid exposure, board-level faults,
counterfeit parts, or other conditions that prevent successful repair. Thrift Phone does not
guarantee that every repair attempt will restore full functionality.
Abandoned Devices
Devices not picked up within [insert number] days after notice of completion, cancellation, or
failed contact may be considered abandoned to the extent permitted by law. Thrift Phone may
charge storage fees, dispose of the device, recycle it, or sell it to recover unpaid charges and costs,
subject to applicable law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thrift Phone's liability for any repair-related claim shall be
limited to the amount actually paid for the specific repair service, and Thrift Phone shall not be
liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of data, loss of
use, or business interruption.
Customer Acknowledgment
By leaving a device for service, the customer confirms that they have authority to request the
service, that the device does not contain contraband or unlawful material, and that they agree to
this Repair Service Waiver and Customer Agreement.
